Seed II: Gloamspike's Revenge has been scheduled to see the light of day at Gen Con 2010.
This will be the last expansion set in the Seed timeline. The following expansions will take the players back to the time of 1st edition and beyond.
The art is ALL finished
The art is finally all done. It has been a long rough ride. Over the past many months we have been working together with a selected group of artists that have created great, funny and fittingly disturbing images for the new set. And we are very happy with the work that has been delivered.
A handful of artists have been brought back from the early days and we have brought on a bunch of fresh artists as well that has brought some new light to The Spoils. But rest assured that while the art brings some fresh perspectives, it has remained true to the foundations of The Spoils.
Quality Printing
Arcane Tinmen has teamed up with Cartamundi in Belgium for the production of The Spoils.
Cartamundi is the leading manufacturer of trading card games and has an excellent reputation within the community.
The new set will consist of 110 cards. It will be sold in boosters of 13 cards and displays of 12 boosters. The set will have foil cards as well as feature ultra rares in the form of alternative art for sought-after cards.
The story behind the expansion
“Seed II: Gloamspike's RevengeTM” explores the climax of the Seed era and the emergence of the trades seen in First Edition.
Gloamspike, the Emperor's sinister adviser, stirs unrest amongst the inhabitants of Marduun.
Gideon begins his final descent into madness, as the Mau are cast out of the city and forced to wander the desert.
The Rogue clans continue their hedonistic exploits, while the Gearsmith dabble in the experimental field of runic circuitry.
Seed II is the solemn conclusion to the twisted origin story of The Spoils.
