Welcome to The Spoils!
Enter the demented world of The Spoils™ and prepare for a gaming experience that will redefine how you think about card games.
On this page we will introduce you to our game. What you will find is an intro to the game itself along with links to five different 30 card decks (at the bottom of this page) so you may take The Spoils out for a spin!
The World of The Spoils™
Imagine a world where fiendish, cat-headed moneylenders can literally raise the dead and force them to work off past debts.
Where working-class wizards wear bowler hats and produce magic in factories.
Where business contracts are enforced by vengeful wraiths.
Where technologically brilliant elves live for thousands of years but never outgrow their juvenile immaturity.
And where feuding armies led by dragons wage a gruesome war over causes long forgotten.
The Spoils™ is the unique vision of a fantasy world gone terribly wrong. Sometimes comical, often bizarre, the dark whimsy and grisly humor of the Spoils™ is sure to delight and entertain.
If you resurrected JRR Tolkien, HP Lovecraft and Lewis Carroll and then forced them to write an epic together, it might come out something like The Spoils™.
And to top this off The Spoils™ is also an awesome card game! One we hope you will enjoy along with the rest of us!!

The Complete and Extensive Video Demonstration
If you prefer you may also watch our demo video that takes you by the hand and step by step introduces you to the game. The demonstration video can be watched by clicking the player below.
Note that the first five seconds consists of a clickable menu that will allow you to quickly jump forward to any passage you wish to explore. For easy viewing just "pause" the player and you can easily pick out the item you want to delve into.
The Comprehensive Rules Covering Every Minute Detail
If you want to dig really deep into the rules you can do so by checking out our large tomow covering the minute aspects of the game: The Spoils™ Comprehensive Rules Reference. But this is probably for much, much later ;-)
Deck Download Center
Below you will find five different decks (they appear twice below; just chose paper size to be US Letter or A4). Just print out the pages and cut them up and you are ready to bring on the game.
We suggest putting the cut-out cards inside a sleeve with alongside another card - that way it will be easier to shuffle etc. - but of course you just play with the cut-outs if you like.
