Standalone Boxed Set

I'm working on Seed 3. That's the internal name, I don't know what it'll really be called, Seed 3 right now. It's actually a little bit different, it's not the same as Seed 2, not a normal set. We're working on kind of like a boxed set. It'll have a couple of alternate ways of playing, but ultimately it's going to work as a box of cards. Just as kind of an appetiser for some of the newer things that we're going to be doing.

I'm really curious about this standalone boxed set format. Any chance of more details?

Will it be draftable?

Will it have anything from Open R&D?

Seed 3 will be a boxed set, it'll be a standalone edition. It'll contain all the cards within the set when you buy the box... It will not be booster packs.

I want this to be just for Seed 3. I like the collectable card game aspect of it, because Limited is by far the most powerful format that we have.

A standalone set? This would mean that we will see new factions?

Will misspoke some. It will not be a "Stand Alone" set in the traditional sense. (of being playable all by it's self)

It will however be a "Fix Set". Meaning that there will be no random element to the cards. There will be no "booster packs".
