Magician's Flunky
(This is part of a series of cards I wanted to do that are designed to be used in "single threshold splash" decks, which is something I would love to see more of.)
Magician's Flunky
3 [O]
Character - Wizard
3/3/3
[O][O] Destroy this card.
PHANTASIA
COST: Your opponent cannot respond to this ability. Pay 2. Destroy this card.
EFFECT: This turn, all items in play gain the "character" type and have X strength, life and speed, where X is the numeric cost of the item. (Minimum 1) Such items may attack even if they have not been in play under your control since the start of the turn.

tgrtrax:
Card ability updated. I agree. I like it more that way.
Tanek:
That's precisely the point. It is to encourage single threshold mixing with other classes, which there is not enough of. Also, it helps to make Limited events more fun with the single threshold splashing that usually always occurs.
Not to mention this card is a reference to "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" short film from the movie "Fantasia", in which a certain, naughty wizard-in-training haphazardly brings to life a bunch of household items.

Dunno if I think the speed should be the cost, perhaps set it fixed at 3?

I think this was used for the Contrabulous Fabtraption
RUNE OF ANIMATION
COST: Destroy this card. Pick an item.
EFFECT: This turn, the item is a "golem" character with strength and life equal to its numeric cost and 3 speed.
