    I was thinking about flip-up resources when I saw this

    Why Egotism cost 3? And I thing it should be more universal.

    My proposal:

    Egotism

    Unique Egotism

    This resource may only be played face down.
    Provides [E]

    When this card is flipped up you may reduce next numeric cost you pay this turn by X where X is number of [E] you control

    If this card leaves play draw a card.

    Flip-up 3 [E]

    Furious Anger

    Unique Furious Anger

    This resource may only be played face down.
    Provides [R]
    When this card is flipped up you may inflict 3 damage to your opponent's faction.

    If this card leaves play draw a card.

    This resource may only be played face down.
    Provides [O]
    When this card is flipped up you may look at the top 4 cards of your deck. You may put any number of those cards on the bottom of your deck in any order. Put the remaining cards on the top of your deck in any order. Draw 2 cards.

    I def dont like the [D] changes... unneedingly (is that a word?) complex

    Why do you want them all to cantrip? that just seems like you are trying to up thier power level.. especially making them unique.. I wanted to keep them simple and elegant...



    I think Egotism and Compulsion need to change..


    I also increased the flip up because I forgot that when they are flipped up they will be unattached.

    I locked at my post second time and I agree with you.

    Now I think the Egotism is OK, but I don't play [E], it would by useful?

    Profiteering:
    Have The Banker enough "gaining life"?

    yeah.. I spoke with a few [E] players and they liked it a lot.


    remember.. they dont have to be THAT generic because there could always be ones in the future and you dont want to make them AUTO include in every deck of each faction... kind of like crests are almost ALL AUTO includes... that is usually bad for the game.. so having them sort of specific isnt bad.

    Must they come into play face down? I could imagine a scenario where you would want to play them face up and I don't really see why this would be bad other than not getting to use their ability(ies).

    yes.. The reason for this is because otherwise... there would be NO reason to NOT play them... every deck would run the ones that are in faction..

    You should NEVER make a card that is AUTO included in a deck with no penalty.

    If I could just play them face up then they are pretty much strictly better then a staple (other then not being a staple)

    by forcing to play them down, you are being penalized for playing a card that is better then a staple.

    I like the idea, but would change the names to make them more consistent with the idea of a resource that you would use to gain an advantage. Currently some of the names read like an action you might take, which would be more suitable for Tactics. Compulsion, for example, I think fits nicely with the original concept of Obsession (Obsessive Compulsion comes to mind) but Eminent Domain sounds like a Tactic you would use to deal with Locations.

    Having said that, I would change Furious Anger to Fury, Profiteering to Indulgence, and Eminent Domain to Imposition.

    Just some ideas.
