Thread: Entering / Leaving Play:

    Default Entering / Leaving Play:

Just wanted to be sure on this... My players are in a big disagreement on this situation and I want the exact answer:

So, say I use Gilded Yurt to remove my Dowsing Cleric from play, thus activating his Resource fetch trigger... Does that same trigger re-activate when Gilded Yurt "puts him back into play" at the start of my turn or is that not quite considered "entering play" again?

    Thanks!

Entering play means entering that game zone, so any means by which something does that... playing a card, put into play, played from the discard pile, however

Thanks, Hordak. You're the man! I figured as much, but wanted to be 100% sure so there could be no more arguments during tournies. XD

Yes, the character enters play again (though it is not "played"). as the card says "put the character into play under your control", it is definitely entering play.
