Thread: Build a playing card deck.

  1. #1

Default Build a playing card deck.

An idea that I had was to create a playing card deck with a bit of a "the Spoils" flavor added to it.

However, most of the cards won't have a lot of artwork on them (though that may change)

Kings, Queens, and Jacks have face cards, and that will allow 12 different artwork designs on them...

however, it might make sense to create artwork on each of the 54 cards (52 + two Jokers) so I'd like feedback from the forum...

Keep it traditional, I don't like 'full art' decks that give up the traditional 'pip' appearance in the process. Now, integrating art into the pips and then going all out on the faces, that'd be cool.

I second lts's suggestion. Perhaps use some element of The Spoils universe in the place of/on the hearts/diamonds, etc. Something along the lines of mask-heart, sword-spade, gear-club, gem-diamond.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.
