Is the idea of "mining" that the new deception cards will "mine" cards from the other person's deck? As in stealing the cards from the top of your opponent's deck?

I don't mind. More realistic, right? Our poor women are already subjected to impossible standards as far as body image goes in TV and magazines every day, maybe The Spoils could be one of those few places where they could escape that? Might bring in more female players, and that can only be good!

Personally I do not like the new art work its not spoils enough. If the main reason your changing the art work is because people can't tell the difference between cards then they must be blind. Its called reading its a card game get used to it.

The new art will not be following the color schemes of old. This has been done for a couple of reasons:

• It is easier when designing the art - and gives the artist more freedom - and thus means less micromanaging.
• As one person in this thread pointed out some of the older cards were hard to tell apart because they all had the same color. And we feel exactly the same way.

We hope you will still find the art of the new set attractive and fun

I am confused. So Rogue will no longer be a red themed set. How will the old cards fit in. Also please keep the quirky feel that the old cards have. That is what made this game stand apart.
