    This is a great idea. Can you think of any other runes that could go on this card?

    Sure!

    For this one I'd put it into play attached, vis a vis Contriving Engineer. That seems more useful than a 1 turn overclock.

    I think permanent acceleration would be a bit much. A card like this trades power for flexibility.

    Anyway....

    EFFECT: This turn, treat the card as though it has no rules text.

    RUNE OF RECURSION
    COST: Destroy this card. Choose a number for X. Pay X.
    EFFECT: Search your deck for a 'container' card with X cost or less and put it into play.

    I agree that the rune of acceleration should be like a contriving engineer. Also I am overjoyed to finally see cards that are not RARES or way too overpowering to actually see print as-is.
