What's the intent of this card? I don't understand it's effect right now.

Perhaps it's meant to cause one of your abilities to become a trigger at the start of your turn, thus making it impossible for your opponent to respond to it?

it has to be that way since no one can respond to the start of a turn or effects that trigger during it

The ability use itself would still allow a response. What this card does is let you use an ability before or in between start-of-turn triggers.

    Exactly. Two potential uses:

    1. You have 3 resources left at the end of opponent's turn. You begin your turn, resolve this trigger, use the Gearsmith faction's pump ability, then resolve your faction's restore rule.
    2. You have 2 resources left at the end of opponent's turn. You begin your turn, play a resource, use this trigger to pay 3 to draw a card, then resolve the restore rule.

I really like this card. I'd play it all day long. There are so many times when it could be ludicrously useful. Oh, and as has been my habit lately, flavor text.

Okay, I do really like this effect. However, I hope you don't mind if I take it and attach it to an entirely different card. The same basic principle will be preserved, though.

That's fine. The real idea was the mechanic, and I just slapped it on a body as I didn't have anything better to do with it.

I do kinda like the name Loophole Lawyer though (for a different card).
