The future holds a 2 player starter!

This is the last thing we ever did, for The Spoils. It was designed as the long-needed intro for new players. It features 2 pre-made decks, 1 special booster pack, a foil promo card, a world map and a world glossary (with plenty of silly entries), and a spiffy box. Note, you either get Grand Theft All or Dragon Tank as a foil rare promo.

The decks feature a lot of really simple cards for beginners. After playing a couple games, the idea is that you open the special booster pack and get a few cards to augment each deck. The foil factions make their first appearance here too (and it's the only way to get them).

I only wish Patrick and I had had the energy to finish the comic book walk through of the first game...it was supposed to be included in this box set but to be honest we just didn't have the heart (or the energy) left at the end to pull it off. I do have the whole script laid out, and even reference photos. Maybe I'll show those off some time.

These were tournament prizes as well, but they were the not as nice Seed foils, and featured the art on the back instead of the normal card back.

Mine came with no rules at all... was this an accident? The back lists a rules sheet. I would love to see the comic rules... maybe those can come out if the transaction is finalized and you work for AT.

The example posted by Century was Banker/Rogue, I presume there exists more than one precon deck? If so, it would seem the foil rare in the "special booster pack" would relate to the trades involved, hence the Beatrix? Why would a Dragon Tank foil promo be here if not to support a Warlord/? deck?

Well, this is just an error. lol. They are supposed to have the correct card back. Also, I think the only reason foil factions were given as tournament prizes later was because we were going down. Originally, the intention was for this to be a special bonus for getting this Starter Kit.

Yeah, it appears that's another error. For some reason, they printed the world map and the glossary on two separate sheets, which is totally wrong. Those are supposed to be the front and back of one sheet, with a rules sheet just like in the other kits inserted too.

Hey, Im completely new here (Just found out about Spoils today), And after looking at what a I thought might be a long dead game Im VERY happy to see something current! I posted in the 'General section' a question about wether or not the game is alive, and Im relieved to see it may be.

When will this new 2-set pack be availible and where would I be able to purchase it? Im very interested in starting this game!
