Spoils sets a Guinness World Record!!

In the Guinness Book of World Records 2008, The Spoils is credited with having "The Largest Trading Card Game Prize" regarding the $400,000 payout expected from the Championship Cruise in 2008.

For those interested in finding it in your own Guinness book, it is located under Arts and Media in the Pop Culture subsection.

Yeah, i guess that does seem like something that should be retracted, granted that the tournament never took place, and half the other prize support never came out.

Has anything about a new set been released yet? Or a new setup of tournaments?

Head over to the Open R&D section for info on new set/sets. I believe they are working on the tournament setup. I'm pretty sure Gencon had some. I'm sure as The Spoils via AT develops more will come to light.
