Player Portal - Invalid STE Number

You've all probably tried this, but you need to register separately from the forum with a (possibly) new username and password. I was able to register using me STE number with -'s intact and login.

Mine works, but it was issued to me by Tenacious at Gen-Con SoCal.
Don't worry too much about it guys. You're not missing much at this point. Nearly everything on the site is 'coming soon'.

Well I'm sure there is a reason why they called it Beta so give it a week or two and I bet all the STE numbers will be valid by then.

Mine works and it was from a store....I think Ryan gave it to me in fact. Got my address changed and everything. Just need it to update points, which it says is coming soon so no one freak out because you are not missing much at this time.

Anyone else getting this error when they try to register? Have had my STE number since March, been judging and playing with it (sent the card in myself along with the rest of our local players' cards).

I tried entering it in the format xxx-xxx-xxxx, xxxxxxxxxx, removing the zeroes, and everything else I can think of.

Ditto. I got the same error. Mine was registered at a local game store.

What's more, the email address given (playerportal@thespoils.com) bounced my email back!

Mine is also from a store, but I got mine in open beta.

I'm pretty sure my number is right, but it's highly likely that my last name is not correct in their database. I believe that is the problem, but that's just my conjecture.

I'm sincerely hoping this will be ironed out during beta, but hey, that's what beta's for. No need to get excited. Now maybe I'll go take my own advice.

How did you get yours in Open Beta? They first gave them out at GenCon SoCal when 1st ed came out. Just curious.
