Trends in sealed of any sort
Has anyone noticed any particular trends in the Sealed tournaments? Like, what style of decks are winning, what strategies seem to work the best, what cards are most effective in drafts/popular? Also, what types of balances in trades do you notice? Three trades with mono-threshold, on trade with double threshold and the other with 2+ threshold, for example.
I know most people suggest strong emphasis on removal in both sealed and draft events, and most everyone I know will select which trades they'll be playing specifically on that.
I've also seen a really good player who consistently uses two trades with around 2 threshold and a third trade with one threshold consistently do well at sealed tournaments. His decks are always interesting, and look random at first, but when you see them in play it all clicks.
