Forum Avatars now avalible.

Forgive me for asking a silly question, but why are custom avatars not allowed? I'm a mod on a few forums and we do not seem to have an issue with it. The only reason I ask is I've used a Tanis avatar for so many years on different forums that I feel naked without it :/ I might just setup my avatar as part of my sig
