Interesting...it's okay, but it doesn't fit in my deck all that well. That Makeshift Contrivance card mentioned in the article, I could use that! It would really make my deck move very fast, which could even be the clincher in a couple of games. Sadly, the Contriving Engineer really has no place in my deck...![]()

I like the card. Not sure how viable the "splash 1 Elitism in deck to play Invent/Pogo Bear" strategy is in this world of Heist Planners, but it'll be fun to try nevertheless.

And after seeing this card, I can finaly say that "Gearsmith has that cheap ressource acceleration."
I like it, because it does allow me to play 2 Elitism start, 2 main, and Warlord x16 for Micromajig swarms + Strength in Numbers or Reveille Tower.

"the magazine must be named ‘Playgirl' as a pun on our own Playboy magazine"
FYI, Playgirl is a real magazine, not a pun. It's like Playboy but it's filled with pictures of naked men instead of naked women. Given the context of the flavor text, my bet is that it is indeed a copy of Playgirl magazine.
