The Spoils Events at FX Convention in Florida

We're currently working on our event schedule for to be held at FX convention in Orlando, Florida on January 26th through 28th. I am welcoming anyone who has some interesting format ideas (i.e. Team Play, Commons & Uncommons Only) to use at this event.

Also, I am currently the only person in my area that i know of that knows the spoils well enough to run events. If you live in the Central Florida area and are interested in helping judge these events please email me at Unityalex@earthlink.net. Im looking for 2-3 People for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Comp will include at a minimum booster packs of the latest set, meals, con badge, and where necessary we will look at the possibility of paying for hotel rooms.

Hey just wondering if the Unity in your name stands for Unity Entertainment? I played in your $1K in Atlanta and have been trying to get more stuff running at one of the card shops up here. I put together 2 Pre-release kit tournaments up here and I think the game is picking up a little more than what you guys saw during the $1K. If you are still trying to get stuff going in Atlanta Id be glad to head judge up here for little compensation, I really want to see some IQs and bus stops up this way.

I'm just pickin' up the game...but...if it doesn't CONFLICT with the YGO SJC competition that weekend(because I'mma top 8) I can help judge if you need it.
On a side note...what other tournaments are being held that weekend? VS tournies? WoW tournies? Anything else?

Well...YGO is a easy-access way for me to pay for any other card game...like VS, WoW, or Spoils.

I dominate at YGO, then win packs/cards/prizes...sell via Ebay...make money...buy other card games...etc etc.

YGO is a simplistic card game too...much simpler than any other.

PLUS...as the YGO tournament will be one of the LARGEST tournaments...and I stand a good chance at doing well in it...if not winning it...I should enter it...because as of now, he has not mentioned what type of Spoils Tournament it will be...1k? 50k? etc...if it is anything bigger than a 5-10k...I might play it...but winning the YGO prize would give me a larger prize than 10k...laptop, ipod, and most importantly...the card...which I'd sell via ebay in a flash...and since it's the first card(minus the misprint in Austrailia) it'd be worth the MOST money. =/

I wish I could go to the VS 10k tourny comin' up on the 9th...but...alas...I'm out of date on the newest VS rulings and sets.

Well when you put it that way then it is a great idea. I was just talking about the age ranges the two games are targeting and they did not seem to overlap. I also know what you are talking about with making money with YGO, I played it before I move out to CA on the sole fact that I could make money on the game. So I wish you good look.

for the spoils event going on in orlando what will the number of points being given away, anybody know? and yes yugioh is king, crush card will be the prize. but don't sell it lol cause that card gives you another win . thanks
