Thread: Banker Item - Droit du Seigneur

  1. #1

Default Banker Item - Droit du Seigneur

    Droit du Seigneur
    4 [G][G][G]
    Item

If a character enters play under an opponent's control, gain control of it until the end of your next turn. It can't leave play until then.

    No, too mighty I think.
Some decks have only a FEW item removals. And till the END of next turn?
    So don´t agree with it^^
Sorry, but what menas "Droit du Seigneur"?

  3. Default

I like the idea but isn't it a bit too good with Yurt?

Even alone it is to good. Till the END of next turn, this means, you can attack with those characters ALWAYS first. Opponent CAN´t remove them.
No, don´t agree anyway. Maybe for cost 14 and [G][G][G][G]

The "can't leave play until then."-part is obviously there to prevent yurt abuse. I like the idea.

Maybe have the item's controller lose influence equal to the character's numeric cost?

I play Spoils better than you do.

Influence with the cost hmm, double influence lost and MAY effect
    Then agree too!

I like the [lose x influence, where x is the numeric cost of the character played] part. I think it fits the Banker flavour. Another idea is to add:

Characters you control that you don't own cannot attack.

    Your adding is ok too
But what is with Yurt now? o.O

For example Gilded Yurt allows you to permanently steal characters that you "borrowed" through Mutiny Grant. The part "the character cannot leave play until then would prevent the character to be "yurted".
