Banker Tactic--Shucking Fits
Shucking Fits
4[G][G]
Banker Tactic
Cost: Choose a number for X that is less than or equal to the number of [G] you control. Choose X characters.
Effect: Deplete the chosen characters. They cannot be restored by their faction's RESTORE ABILITY on their controller's next turn. Draw a card.
Flip up: 4[G][G].
“Shuck, you! More pearls!”

I imagine a picture of a fat mau barking commands at a bunch of skinny, homeless mau next to a HUGE pile of oyster shells. Tell me if this fits the Faction...

Think you mean pick X characters.
So new:
COST: Pick X or fewer characters, where X is the number of [G] you control.
But it is interesting that you give the tactic a minimum of [G][G] ;D
For that, I think, a little bit strong^^
If you use this in your turn, they´re depletet 2 turns from you!
And cannot do anything...
Do you think, this is weak? xD
-
How much do you think the threshold should be, [G][G][G] or more? 4? I would also want the card to be playable... How about if it cost 5? 6?
Shucking Fits
5[G][G][G]
Banker Tactic
COST: Pick X or fewer characters, where X is the number of [G] you control.
EFFECT: Deplete the picked characters. They cannot be restored by their faction's RESTORE ABILITY on their controller's next turn. Draw a card.

No, the starting [G] dosen´t matter. Because, you only deplete so many characters you have Greeds. So if the tactic only have one G Tresh, and only have one Greed, you only can deplete one.^^
The interesting thing is, that you have a minimun G to use this card
Look at Cryptic Athaneum or other such cards, they only have one Tresh, but for special-effects you need more Tresh^^
The strong thing is, if you use this tactic in YOUR turn, your opponent can´t use his characters for TWO!!!! Rounds you may attack him! ^^
For example: I have 2 Erotic Assassin and 2 Dwarvish Grimalkin.
The Opponent have 3 other characters.
I play the tactic and deplete all.
Attack, make 8 damage.
Opponents turn, he can´t restore.
My turn, I restore and attack, 8 damage.
(He can´t do anything except with strong other abilitys)
You understand? ^^

Maybe then, it would be more fair to have it cost 6. Here's the update:
Shucking Fits
6[G]
Banker Tactic
COST: Pick X or fewer characters, where X is the number of [G] you control.
EFFECT: Deplete the picked characters. Those cards cannot be restored by their faction's RESTORE ABILITY on their controller's next turn.
Recur: [G][G][G][G]
COST: Use this only if this card is in your discard pile. Pay 2. Remove this card from the game. Pick a character.
EFFECT: Deplete the picked character. That card cannot be restored by their faction's RESTORE ABILITY on their controller's next turn.

Have an idea (i like your ideas, have so many ideas through you, and you have GOOD ideas!!!)
Shucking Fits
4[G]
Banker Tactic
COST: Pick X or fewer characters, where X is the number of [G] you control.
EFFECT: Deplete the picked characters. At the start of your opponents next turn, your opponent may pay 1 for each character depleted by this card. If he don´t, the character cannot be restored by that player´s factions RESTORE RULE.
Recur: [G][G][G][G]
COST: Use this only if this card is in your discard pile. Pay 3. Remove this card from the game. Pick a character.
EFFECT: Deplete the picked character. That card cannot be restored by their faction's RESTORE ABILITY on their controller's next turn.
(The second I think is ok not to pay 1, it can be used against only one character and only one time with recur)

Thanks for the compliments! I like giving Bankers cards that have conditional "payment" options, where your opponent can pay X to prevent something or allow something to happen. Ministry of Smaller Ministries is a good example.
I like your version. It would still be really great, but not too good. This card was hard for me to judge... I like yours.

Really, you have so many great ideas, I am fascinated about it.
I always think about new cards, but I am a person, I find never "a beginning"...^^
You understand xD

I really like this card. Down to the core concept. Like the latest incarnation best though. Just change RESTORE ABILITY to RESTORE RULE.
Otherwise you could opt to:
0(G)
COST: Choose a number for X that is equal or lower than he number of (G) you control. Pay X+X. Pick X characters.
EFFECT: Deplete the picked characters. They cannot be restored by that player´s factions RESTORE RULE next turn.

Now that I like! It makes it more fair too, but without the option to pay one to allow them to be restored. I think that's a great idea.
