We at Clockmancardvault.com are back with another article highlighting one of the upcoming Seed 3: Fall of Marmothoa cards.

Rather than just discuss a card as we did with Community Chest (scroll down), we decided to pit one of the new characters from Seed 3 against everybody's favorite Sword of Great Justice, Gideon!

I love this stuff!!

I think its a very close call on these two "1 Drops" They are both powerful in many ways. I do think Iohane is a bit more tricky and diverse as gideon is just play it when I get it and hope he stays on the table long enough.

I cant wait to see more comparison articles....such has "Mau Consultant Vs. Costly Filcher ...to see which card takes the cake for Worst Character in the game

And yes, it would be cool to see a contest for worst character in the game - lol!

Could also be cool to see some kind of series of far-out combos that might never actually happen in a real game - but that would be awesome if they could be pulled off

Could also do fun stuff like; places (locations) to visit in Luridia before you die

I think you need to view this in a real game situation. Gideon never hits the board alone. He hits the board first turn with either Adriel, Spry Archer or a couple of Dying Heroes, putting pressure on the go.

Iohane has... Muscle Tribe of Danger and Excellence? Resistance Fighters?


Putting these players against each other will have a sad but realistic outcome. Sorry Iohane...

Well if we're pairing these Swords with other cards, Iohane handles Gideon/Spry Archer and Gideon/Dying Heroes by casting herself on the opponent's attacking turn with a Sudden Osprey. He becomes a 3/3/4, killing Spry Archer and both Dying Heroes if the opponent is silly enough to attack in a party. Depending on how the opponent attacks she can live through all of these attack combinations, as can the Osprey in some. This also beats up the Gideon/Adriel combo if the opponent is silly enough to attack with the the Adriel against a Rogue deck.

Also, in my opinion, I think it is unfair to Iohane to compare her to Gideon + other cards that can be considered better than Gideon in the first place, especially Adriel.

And here I thought you were going to just add Roundalicious Breasticles for a first turn play. That would seriously turn the tables on the Warlord player. ^_^

Ha, that certainly does pair nicely with Iohane. I wanted to try to stay away from items, however, because of Plunging Shriever. I'm not sure myself, but I hear Plunging Shriever is a pretty good card.
