Thread: Warlord Character: Berserker Bannerman

  1. Default Warlord Character: Berserker Bannerman

    Berserker Bannerman
    Cost: 4 [R][R][R][R]
    1/4/3

If a card that provides threshold other than [R] enters play, for each threshold that card provides, this card gains 2 strength and loses 1 life this turn. If this card is destroyed from this effect, you may pick a character. If you do, deal 6 damage to that character.

That's quite a cost that I'm just not sure is worth it. Effectively, to use that ability, you need to pay 4 to play this card then play 4 resources or two non-staple double threshold resources.

Change it to character or faction maybe? Otherwise that's a lot of work for 6 damage. Pretty sure the better way to do that much damage would be to play another character.

It's effected by the opponent playing resources as well. When the opponent plays something with threshold then it triggers this effect.

Ah, I didn't think of that. Completely changes things.

The cost and effect should just be a trigger, similar to balking foecrusher.

Not really sure how to implement your suggestion temlav. Any suggestion?

Thanks Ken for coming up with the way to make the effect a trigger. Appreciate the support. Any feedback on the card?

I like it.. it's a creative idea and use of threshold triggering.
