STE numbers and tournament reporting

Dear Arcane Tinmen,

I'm having a question that was brought to my attention a while back and I'm posting it here in case there are more people around that have the same issue.

When I started playing the Spoils, I received a small card with the Tenacious Games logo and an STE number.

This STE number could for instance be 000-000-1337 if you were really cool and lucky.

Now, after last year's national championship, we got a call from the organizer that said our numbers were wrong and that the one who made our first registration needs to do something. Well, I don't know who did this in the past and thus I'm wondering what WE can do to make our numbers work and also get an answer to the question of what is wrong with them. Is it impacting our nats results in some way? Is it just for statistics or are there leaderboards somewhere that it would be cool to try and get on?

I think all the Swedish players based in Stockholm have this problem with their numbers, so it would be good to know what the problem is and if it's possible to fix it.

We inherited roughly two thousand STP registration slips from Tenacious Games, and all of these were entered into the database when we made the Player Portal. So if your numbers does not compute, then it means we didn't receive it from TG. And where they might have ended up one can only guess.

If you have used the old numbers for Nationals, then the tournament cannot be uploaded because it will not allow this with non-existing numbers.

What can be done is to reinstate all of those old numbers. Send me an email to "michael (at) arcanetinmen (dot) dk" listing all the names and STP-numbers of the guys not in the system (check at the Player Portal first), and I can send you new forms to fill out and send back to me - and then I can have you guys entered into the system.
