Hmm... This will probably kill off decks that rely on only 2 starting resources. I don't think that's a good idea.

I like the idea but maybe it should be tweaked. Like increase all costs paid by non-staple resources by 1 or 2.

I actually like your idea Temlav, but maybe it's more suited for a new card. Might make counting resources a bit too hard though.

I know it's a risky card Bizze but I think it is fairly balanced with only 1 structure. You could make it a character also to make it more frail to removal though.

a deck that doesn't run any resources (except their starting 2) will just lose to this.

It was meant as an answer to Arcane Research mostly.

How about adding:

Polish
Cost: Only your opponent may use this ability. Pay 2.
Effect: Play a resource face down.

and

At the start of your turn four faction looses X influence where X is the number of face down resources your opponent controls minus the number of face down resources you control.

Maybe too much...
