Well, I guess it could be a metagame call in the Australian nats, but I don't think I saw it at Gencon or in Bochum either...

Not to mention the fact that if you play an arcanist-sporting opponent, you'd only play Selective Gluttony as a response to your opponent using his last resources and having no means of using Obscene Astrologer's ability. Unless you really are losing, but then you'd probably loose anyway. I agree with Bizze on the topic that Selective Gluttony is a really good card in these decks. I would play at least three of it.

As a participant in the Nationals and a semi-regular player agaisnt most of these guys, I can safely say that the Banker/Warlord theme decks are very strong at the moment and hard to beat. With Monty in there and a bunch of cheap but powerful warlord characters and some of the other banker removal/control cards, if played correctly I dont see many decks being able to beat them (the only exception being the red-light district deck).

I love my Martial Artist/3p1c D00dm4k3r deck and will continue to play it as I play for fun but i would like to see a more balanced tournament deck list with all trades having strong decks....

Although with the recent unveiling of Port Manteau, this just gives these decks another fantastically strong card. Love the card but just hope the coming releases raise some of the other trades up a bit....
