Hmm... Shouldn't it have been "character subtype"? Now it can shut down stuff like... gears. Poor, poor Gearsmith. First Plunging Shriever, now this...

Also good for shutting down Crests, and Party Clowns, and Maus, and Swords, etc etc etc... Very versatile.

We have yet to see a single Gearsmith card from Seed 3 ... I hope they have something worth while.

Correct, but it's cheap enough that you can get it out before the first Clown.

How good will this card really be if it is used at all? I suppose you could guess dragons/swords if you see starting rage, but in a banker deck, you aren't going to have much knowledge of your opponents deck without some rogue/arcanist cards in the deck. I suppose time will tell. I do love the artwork though. Next spoiler please

I actually think this is one of the more powerful cards we have seen. I mean in my local group we all know what we play and yes while there will be new decks produced with future sets, it wont be hard to work out what card type to name.

It will shut down my Rogue/Gearsmith deck if my opponent chose "gear" and that equates to about 16 cards or so....

Dragons, clowns, mau, swords..

Dont get me wrong, I love the card and the artwork and I personally would be very surprised if this is not one of the first cards picked for any deck with greed in it.

I also cannot wait to see what cards Gearsmith gets
