I like. Really powerful in a deck with Writ of Reclamation. Though I'd have to play test it before saying if it'd be broken or not. Still I think that the numeric cost of 0 is a bit too cheap.

A I think I just assumed that you'd search your deck for the character and put it into play. Then it doesn't replace Unnatural Alteration and get's my approval 100%. Though I'd make it:

This card is sooooo much better than Unnatural Alteration! Removing the restriction of having to play it on your own turn and not during a battle is quite something. Maybe even too good. I'd love to...

I like both versions. In the first one I'd love to see that you remove a tactic from your hand face down. I just think that would add more mind games.

I'd prefer to switch: put a characfer from your hand into play, to: you may play a character from your hand for free. Banker has enough ways to ignore thresholds already. Greate concept though.
