Cut the wire
Use this only if a character with the Node subtype would be destroyed
Cost - Pick a node character
Effect - Remove the character from play and search your deck for a 'node' type card and put it into your hand.

Interesting idea, perhaps if you got to search for another node when you sacrific it. As it is it probably isnt powerful enough since you are losing a card to stop your other nodes dying, so unless you have lots in play (like, 3 Basic and 2 Hubs), then you probably arent getting value.
Cost: Pick a Node you control, Sacrifice Node Wire.
Effect: Remove the chosen card from the game, search your deck for a 'node' type card and put it into your hand.
This way you dont lose a card, and you can tutor for Node Wire with the last node you play (say you go Basic->Basic->Basic-Hub->Node Wire), then if they try and kill your Hub Node you can save your basics with Node wire, then search for another Node and go again next turn. The fact that you have to pay resources for the Node Wire, and still lose your Hub node, means it isnt overpowered, since it just prevents their spot removal from being a board wipe.

I was thinking of something like that. I was split between that or searching when it enters play. Just forgot to ad it.
