I'm considering writing some short fiction set in The Spoils universe and I was wondering what you folks would want to see in a short story. I feel like The Spoils has rich potential as a universe to set stories in, especially comedic stories that avoid becoming morality tales but touch on serious points that impact us all.
So, before I put pen to paper (or more realistically fingers to keyboard), what would you want to see in The Spoils short fiction? Fleshripping Scenepuller and an Erotic Assassin in a tragic love story (talk about foreplay! (ouch...)), or maybe the thrilling tale of the rise of the Mau Party and their Cat-Nip Manifesto? Let me know what characters, story-lines or locations you would find interesting to read about, and they just might find their way into a short story.

How about original characters againts the Spoils backdrop? The sky's the limit.

Definitely. I think not exploring original characters would be sort of a lame cop-out and border on internet fan-fiction, which I'm trying to avoid.

You could be like that World of Warcraft writer who just name dropped his way to a million book sales.

I'd be too afraid of Red Shirt Guy.

Been a long time since this post, but I wanted to update and say now that my final exams are over, I've begun work on a short story involving the ever expanding Mau influence in Clockman.
Hope to get a draft done in the next week!

Sent a draft to you, Anders. Had some inspiration for a Sarcophyle monologue. Hope you enjoy.

If you wouldn't mind sending it over to me, I'd like to read it as well.
