I'm a new player(first time playing The Spoils was the week Seed 2 came out) and this is my first real attempt to make a solid deck. Its meant to resource hard and early and just hold your own early game, then mid to late unload with overwhelming force.

My main concern is the characters, I love my current items, but It would be nice to somehow still do what my current characters do but with alittle much natural punch at the same time(maybe im asking to much =,=)

Most of my cards are Seed and Seed 2, but I'm looking for any and all suggestions ^^, I've played it against a Rogue steal deck and it won 4/5, Played it against a nasty fully rared out Adriel, Gideon deck and won 2/5( Adriel Gideon turn 1 is just epic) ;P
and against a Arcanist discard deck and won 4/5

I'll be checking this everyday lol, I love to dech tech and do it all the time ^_^

Please and 7h4nk y0u

Toolbox Elf (with 1337 spelling) is a very good card to include in most Gearsmith builds that have lots of items. It gives you the opportunity to create a strong character (Epic Doodmaker) or a more flexible search option (Luteoderm Prototype) It can also win games if you have strong characters on the field already that want to attack again (Hot Pepper).

I would probably add a forth Contriving Engineer as well.

An interesting combo in such an Elitism-heavy deck could be The Whatever Device together with Spiked Atlasphere (or any other gear or item you'll find a use for, i.e. Luteoderm Prototype etc. With the Whatever Device you can attach the gear at the speed of a tactic.

I seldom play mono Gearsmith, as I think Gearsmith works best as a support trade, but if you have success in your local meta, just think about some of my suggestions and see if they can improve your game.

Thanks much for the advice and keep it coming ^_^(I rly do check this everyday see lol)

I agree 110% about the Toolbox Elf, It provides many options to use to adapt to whatever situation your in. Whatever device would also be a good option. The trouble would be, what to take out. ;P

Any suggestions?

I don't have time to analyze your deck in detail and see what to exclude, but I recommend that you also think about adding Micromajig Shipping Containers.

Just checked my cards and it seems I only have two shipping containers ;( also, After playing this deck a few more times it seems I never get to make use of elite mechanics ability. maybe its just the decks im playing against ;P

Also, I saw a card today called Accidental Invention

it lets me draw a card AND play a item at the speed of a tactic thats face down, AND it recycles itself. Im thinking it will be a good edition to this deck.

what do you guys think?

Beefy elfs are a must along with some senior research assistants. Also toolbox elf with epic doodmaker is just plain sexy.

edit: As for as accidental invention, it's up to you. If you add it and find you don't end up playing it a lot, then it may not be worth it.

Hmm, yeah I have known about the Beefy elf combo, and I have 4 seniors and 4 interns(with how hard this deck resources I tend to like better)

problem is I dont have any beefy elfs xD

This might be the wrong section but, where is the best place to buy singles online? My local gamestore does support The Spoils but not enough to sell singles lol

EDIT: Sweet!, just got home tonight and while I was at my local judges house playing some Spoils I managed to trade for 2 Accidental Inventions ;D

If you do plan on playing b33fy elf, then you may consider basic nodes to play an easy b33fy.
