1 Greed
1 Obsession

If you can spare the time to test this deck, I promise you you'll be presently surprised. It may look like a heap of junk with to many colors and too few resources, but trust me. Its awesome. I've never had trouble with threshold at all.

Tips: Play second, mulligan aggressively into Karmic Cake. Other than that, try to get ahead with card advantage from STI and the sheer brokenness of Asim Center.

--Update--

I took out the elitism for the 2nd threshold in obsession. This let me take out several weak cards for Anomaly, Forget, Ejector and some other good stuff. I also added in a tac vac which should help against a multitude of decks.

Any particular resource you want to get out first with Karmic Cake, or does it depend entirely on the opening hand?

Usually violence if you don't already have one, otherwise the elitism or second greed.

He is only one thresh in Elitism.

I noticed. What I ment was why didnt he fit Toolbox Elf into the deck. Seems like there would be some nice synergies. :D

I have tested your deck a little, and:

I had thresh problems at least some of the games.

I have no clue why Mysterious Invasion is in here, except for maybe
synergy with basic nodes.

I did not find Assimilation Center helpful. I made an Assimilation Center deck
myself (Rogue/Warlord), and I had many options with it such as
heist planner, martial artist, rabid sarume, idol smasher, blazing shriever. I did
not find AC as strong in this deck.

Banker locations hurt your deck, specifically Ministries and Department of Rej.

Rogue hurts this deck. An early heist planner will take out your h07 p3pp3rs
and other good 1 ofs, or even worse will take out 1 elitism, 1 greed.
You have no answer for Martial Artist, except for maybe Dragon Archer,
which is easily taken care of.

I would suggest adding in 1+ property condemnor, 1+ subordinate demotiv.,
more elitism and greed.

Assuming you were mulligining aggresively enough, I still think that this deck has no more thresh problems than your average other deck.

I find that it is a useful long game card advantage engine.
That being said, it doesn't get tutored for all too often so it may have to come out.

I'm not sure what to say to this, as I have found that asim center is essentially game against many decks. Against characters, triple dragon archer is insane. Against combo or control, servile centipedes can tutor up whatever discard or removal you need.

in my experience just sticking asim center can provide enough characters to bash through whatever location.
That being said, they have a very small representation in my local metagame, do I may not have enough experience.

This is absolutely true. Although I have managed to win games despite having my elitism discarded (usually I will search for greed in response to turn 1 heist), It is a weakness that could warrant attention. However, I have found that in many real world situations people don't expect me to just be playing 1 of my key resources and so overlook them when searching my deck.

The 1 of SD is a great idea. Maybe take out the mysterious invasion for it?

Thanks for the comments!

I want to play you and see this deck in action. :D

Do you have MWS?

Also, have you considered Cowering Golem or 1337! in this deck?

Bear in mind that the Department of Rejections makes searching with the Assimilation Center cost 3, which is why it has the potential to wreck you.

I do not have MWS. I've tried once or twice to get it working for testing mtg but for whatever reason I couldn't get it to work.

I have tested both 1337! and Cowering Golem. The golem was good, but was very underpowered against many decks. I didn't have enough 4+ costing cards to play 1337!, especially without the golems.

This deck does have the potential to easily win without Asim. Center, but the Department is not good times for me at all. Some tutor target that removes locations could be helpful if more people play DoR.
