Carpool to Upcoming Events

Anybody in Indiana want to see if we can get a carpool going to reduce the cost of driving to some future tournaments? ($1,000 tourney in Chicago, $5,000 tourney in Detroit, $10,000 in New York) If there are a number of us planning to go anyway, why not go ahead and all go in one vehicle?

Or am I the only one crazy enough to want to drive hundreds of miles to play a card game? =)

but considering that Chicago is an hour and a half away from me, and Lafayette is two hours away...There are hot spots in a bunch of "close" locations...

I guess I am crazy too. I am in Kokomo, IN and planning on attending the Detroit event. Sharing a ride sounds fine if we can work out the details. If I head to NY it will be by plane.

I seem to recall somebody who plays at Jim's 'SCnG' wanting to go to the detroit tourney, I'll inquire about that on wednesday during the weekly event there.

If my brother isn't working during the time of the tourney and there is a sufficient number of people going, I'd be willing to bet that he would go as well.

Yeah, sadly NY seems like it will be by plane, if at all... but I'd like to see how I place in Detroit before I make any plans for NY.

I'll try to post as soon as I find out any more information, but as I'm sure I've said a million and 5 times already... no net at home so It can be a pain to check the forums.

edit: btw Jedi, I'm the (big) guy who split for first/second at Gamerz tonight, if you didn't know who I was already.
