Want to help Tenacious Games succeed and get some cool stuff in the process?

We're looking for a reliable, diligent individual with strong writing skills to work on a couple of important projects.

In exchange for your efforts, we will gladly compensate you with Spoils product and swag, etc.

If you're interested, please send an e-mail with an attached writing sample to ryan.cohen@tenaciousgames.com with the subject line "Tenacious Writing Opportunity." Be sure to include your contact information. :chomp:

What sort of writing sample are you looking for? An article on The Spoils gameplay, bussiness type article, or creative writing?

Possibly technical writing? Yeah I had the same question, Lucien.

Technical writing is best, although business writing, journalism articles or academic essays are also fine.

Do samples have to be about The Spoils, or is any topic okay as long as it showcases your skills as a writer?

Any topic is fine as long as it shows your ability to articulate yourself clearly and concisely in writing.

If we can acquire a few more details on the requirements of the project, such as, do we need to relocate? Does it involve writing a book, article or just instructions on game play? How much time are we expected to devote to the project?

I'm interested in applying for the position; however, I would like to receive a little bit more information on the subject matter to help decide whether this would benefit both parties involved.

General announcement to everyone who's applied so far: Thank you very much for your interest, I look forward to getting in touch with you soon and promise to do so by next Sunday at the latest.

Nothing so drastic as relocating, nor so involved as writing a book (yet). There are a couple different projects in the works right now, but the foremost one involves helping draft a set of documents to teach new players. (This shouldn't take more than a few well-spent hours.) However, anyone who's looking to get involved now will be put on my list of people to tap for other exciting opportunities, which may or may not include writing articles, fiction, adventure modules for an upcoming Spoils tabletop RPG (-gasp!-) and marketing copy.

Are submissions still being evaluated? Will everyone who submitted samples be contacted, even if they are not selected?

Submissions are still being evaluated, and will be on an ongoing basis. I will get back to everyone who's submitted samples. I've engaged the first group of volunteers with a project, and will get back to everyone who volunteered more recently in the next couple weeks.

Can we still submit our submissions?
