ICv2 News Mistake?

The Spoils release set, due out in November, will be a 300-card set including 190 of the cards from the Open Beta period (most of them) and 110 new cards. Two SKUs will be offered, Booster Packs, and 70 card Tournament Packs.
Is this true that only 190 of the 200 Open Beta cards will be reprinted? Just wanted to clarify.

Well, we have only SEEN 190 cards, so maybe, the entire beta will be made from the cards we have seen and the remaining 110 wont be revealed until the game goes live?

I was under the impression that Open Beta was going to be 200 cards. If that is so, then 10 cards will not be included in the release set. Or the 10 cards from Open Beta yet to be revealed will be included in the release along with the rest of OB and 100 new cards?

I'm sure it's one of those two options, but extra cards may be made as a supplement, possibly.

What I want to know, is if this being the first set, will it be larger than any expansion sets of the Spoils, assuming there will be some? IE, this set is 300 cards, but smaller, say 190 card sets are released later on in the year, like alot of TCGs do.

I don't think that there are going to be expansion sets, but rather large sets released over a lengthier amount of time.

Well, they really kept us in the dark up till a few weeks back when we got closer to the Beta period, so I guess either possibility is still strong, given what we know.

I hope that they don't follow the trend of other TCGs just to distinguish between the two.

Well, so long as they don't pull us to other planes where we must deal with Rat-Folk and Kami, I'm pretty comfortable with any shape the Expansions may take. :)
