Foil Odds

Does anyone know what are the odds for a foil card in 1st edition. Thanks

1/8... for just any foil .... and we think it's 1/25 for foil rares

On the back of a spoils booster it says 1 foil in every 5 packs, but it also states that the ratio is for the overall run, not necessarily the distribution in a box. From every booster box (12 booster packs) I have opened, I have gotten at least 4 foils and as many as six, and usually one rare foil per box.

I think it is more like 1/4. I seem to get 3 to 4 a booster box.

I got about 3 -4 per booster box as well. And there is a ratio of C/U/R foils which seems to me at about 4/2/1 so a foil rare shows up about every other box.

Mine have stuck to the 1/5 rule pretty much. One per Sealed pool.

Then I must be very lucky because so far I think my fils ratio is 1/2 (only commons though), that beeing said I've only opened 6 boosters so not much to go by.
