My friends and I drafted yesterday and had some confusion with the packs. 4 Part 1 packs that we opened had either 2 or 3 doubles in the pack...non-foil. What is with this? Some sealeds that we have opened recently do not have any rares either. What is up?

Same thing has been happening to us lately too, especially the no rares in sealed :(

My friends and I ... What is up?
You got to get better security for those packs. Try a firewall and router.

At SLC I cracked open my Tournament pack, flippin through it it seemed normal- Until I got to the resources. They were black. Like, Solid black cards. Coolest thing I've ever seen. The judge let me keep them, so I now have a solid black page in my binder, and its hot. *shrug* just an interesting side note.

Hmm, was this the foreshadowing of the name: Blackormir???

The same thing happened to me as well. The funny thing, however, is that I was missing nothing from the pack. All the resources, rares, commons, uncommons, faction card and the folded rules page and Spoils tourn. experience card were all there.

See... and here I thought that this was going to be an article describing some sort of gorgeous mathmatical pattern describing the way in which the cards were dispersed through the case/box/pack.
You know something cool like: In the 4th case, move to the 3rd column and 2 boxes down. Open the 8th pack to get your Ultra rare :P
You know... a REAL hack :p

You're close - it's the third case, second Column, fifth box, and seventh pack, to find your Ultra Rare.

You fools! Don't give away the secret or my sinister money making scheme with ultra-rares goes down the toilet.
I have your rares, muhahahaha!! Actually I probably do, I opened one part one booster with 5 rares in it and a part 2 with 2, I was quite happy with 5 rares unfortunatly none of em were what I needed.

I have a feeling my packs were HAXXZ0RD!!! I opened a part 2 pack yesterday only to reveal TWO Puddles of Goo, neither foil!
Then, much to my amazement, I opened another pack and BOOM! I was greeted with not one, two, or even three, but FOUR PUDDLES OF GOO!
Needless to say, I was frought with Gooey fingers, but the packs were subpar. And in all seriousness, I really did open Four Puddle of Goo in one pack, none foil.

I just opened a pack of seed with no rare in it as well. I only wish it could have been one of the packs with 3 Doubles in it instead. Is that really too much to ask? :)
To remedy the problem, I suggest to Tenacious that they put a double in EVERY pack of seed from now on, so that everybody will get their playsets of doubles, and not have to care so much about them anymore.
I opened a pack of Seed last week with three foils (common) and two rares (non foil) in it.

I had this same problem with my Seed box, but it ultimately balanced out to 1 rare per pack (Pulled no rare, next pack two rares, et cetera). I haven't had the doubles-in-a-pack problem too much, just one here or there. I've also noticed that the rare isn't always in the same place as it is with most card games (UFS, rare is first card, or Magic, the last one). Perhaps a miscalculation in the packing machinery programming?

Mind you this was back in the Spring, but my friend opened a 1st Ed. pack and got 3 rares, all the same card, if memory serves it was Armoured Keep. It was a banker card at any rate. I put it down to :chomp: still being a new company at the time.

Haven't had a multipule rare "problem" (unfortunatley) but I did open a few SEED packs (all from the same booster box) with 2 Tiny Sarumes in one pack and 2 Oppurtune Slotpullers (and a third Tiny Sarume) in another. I also had a SEED tournament pack that was short a rare.

I had the same thing happen, except I believe it was in a Rogue pre-constructed deck. I didn't think anything of it—I just thought they were tokens. Nothing was missing.
