Well better to die doing something you love than to be killed by someone dropping a poodle out of a 13th story window.

I heard about this too and am very sad. However, I'm not sure this was the right place to post such a topic...
Even so, I was a fan, and I feel bad for his familly, he had a few kids, and apparently his wife has yet to be informed. :(

Oh, the source that told me said his wife was in the mountains and still doesn't know. I guess I'll find out which is true later.

Is it awful that I would love to see that footage? Seems...historic...almost.
According to wiki:
Fatal stings are extremely rare (as of 1996, worldwide known deaths from stingray barb injuries numbered 17)
So, the guy that juggled alligator eggs and jump roped anacondas gets killed by the statistical equivilant of a mouse running up your chest and getting lodged in your throat.
Kinda makes you reflect on how fragile life is, doesn't it?

Well, I suppose it's fitting that he spent his life doing strange exotic things, and he died in a rare and wierd way.
I doubt there is footage of his death, and if there is, I doubt it will ever find its way to the media if his familly has anything to say about it.

From wiki and The Australian:
The events were caught on camera, and the footage was handed to the Queensland Police.
It's out there someplace, but, yeah, you're probably right about it never being seen by the public.
