Warlord Help

Alright guys I'm looking for a competitive list while still teaching people to get into this game, since no one plays around me. I know this is kind of a lot to ask but can someone make me a good competitive list for Warlord that won't cost a lot price wise? And a good other deck that I can demo with the Warlord deck that is equallly competitive, while still being fun.

If you want a fun warlord deck you need to have 4 pinches in there. Nothing says "I am the BOSS!" than a free purple-nurple. Also a warlord deck needs strength in numbers to punish the opponent for just being there.

this apears to be first edition only in which case the only cards I would recommend would be rares Menacing Mauler and Dragon Quarters.

If your looking to expand into episode 2

and a whole other host of cards are strong for mono warlord decks

So any suggestions as to what to take out or add. I'm not sure about the bloodcurdling bulldozer as Terrential bleeder will destoy it, and Flaming Barduse will be dead probably by the time the Bleeder hits the table.

I dont like Dragon Rider because while you have a bunch of dragons he is most of the time with all the removal and natural game flow going to be a subpar 5 for a 3/3/3.

Skin Suit can be good but very very situational.

Shriever Attack as much as you think its counterinuitive should be in this deck. Nothing says torrential bleeder will always be out. Shriever Attack is a very necessary and vital card against all sorts of top decks.

Again I would recommend you pick up cards like Menacing Mauler and Dragon Quarters to beef up this deck

I would also recommend you go with either or as far as hammer smash and blow up are concerned

/agree and,

I would vote Hammersmash:
-It costs 50% less.
-50% of the time it works 100% better than blow up for item removal (which is the point of using either card after all).

Every warlord deck should have 4 bloodcurdling bulldozers. I would get rid of warrior prodigy and thundering nilpha. The nilpha sucks, you probably have it in there because of dragons quarters, but still... it sucks.

Well assuming Bulldozer is on the table and I need to play a Shriever attack, well there goes the Bulldozer. Or Torrential Bleeder. Nilpha if it swings by itself is an automatic 5 damage which is never bad. Any other suggestions to this deck?

The Nilpha only deals the automatic five damage if it is attacking a location.

if you want the three threshold and you play resources might aswell make your deck so that it does more damage with seven resources.

if you want to use soldiers you have to run reville towers, and about 6-8 sets of characters that are 4 casting cost or lower.

If you go soldiers you go all out soldiers and go after them.
