Isn't it just referencing the way the Horsemajigs work together, each making the others stronger?

we need Justin and his copy of Horsemajig of the Apocalypse -- Death

It makes sense when you line them up War, Pestilence, Famine, Death, you can read the flavor text across all the cards left to right. It just talks about how the Horsemajigs complement each other.

Here is Death's Flavor text:

just find the strength, among them all, that's higher than its friends.
you put them all, beside themselves, and you'll have passed the test!
then each majig, beyond the first, you'll need to add once more.
then you should be, proud of yourself, your mind you had to flex!

Look at the stats on all of the horsemajigs.
When you have it correct a pattern for each stat going across is easily seen.

I'de elaborate but I don't have my cards with me @ work.

Tabak wanted me to let people do it themselves. For the lazy here is white text.

Spoiler Text.
The horsemajigs, they thrive in groups, as you will come to see,
to find their stats, can seem quite hard, 'tis easy as can be!
When all you have, is one of each, you'll see the way they blend,
just find the strength, among them all, that's higher than its friends.
Then do the same, for life and speed, to try this out is wise,
for then you'll know, once and for all, the horsemajig's true size.
And when you find, the numbers that, were greater than the rest,
you put them all, beside themselves, and you'll have passed the test!
But wait there's more, you are not done, this only works out when,
there's one of each, no more no less, so follow me again!
At first you need, to do the steps, I talked about before,
then each majig, beyond the first, you'll need to add once more.
So if you have, them side by side, they'll start as two three four,
then add the rest, you'll have their stats, decipherment galore!
Now if you solved, the mystery, behind this flavor text,
then you should be, proud of yourself, your mind you had to flex!

Well that's no fun... let people figure it out for themselves...

It's not that deep of a puzzle, so I don't think any fun was lost. The main detractor from doing it ourselves is that most of us don't have all four cards.

Does the line about the riddle of the numbers maybe have anything to do with the number of the beast? I know it has to do with the riddle answer, but the riddle seems to allude that if you line it all up, you'll get 666 somehow.

Here's some things just looking through it:
If you have all four out:
- Each of the horsemen have the same stats (3/4/5)
- If you make a column for str, life, speed and add up the number each of these stats get increased for each card, each stat gets incremented a total of 6 times for a +6/+6/+6.

... that's all I came up with as far as their numbers.

wiat i just figured it out. and for all the people that want to figure it out on thier own dont read on.

When all you have, is one of each, you'll see the way they blend, to find thier stats, can seem quiet hard, tis easy as can be! The horsemajigs, they thrive in groups, as you will come to see, just find the strength, among them all, that's higher then its friends. And when you find, the number that, were greater then the rest, for then you'll know, once and for all , the horsemajig's true size. Then do the same, for life and speed, to try this out is wise, you put them all, besides themselves, and you'll have passed the test! At first you need, to do the steps, i talked about before, there's one of eahc, no more no less, so follow me again! but wiat there's more, you are not done, this only works out when, then each majig, beyond the first, you'll need to add once more. Now if you solved, the mystery, behind this flavor text, then add the rest, you'll have thier stats, deciphement galore! So if you have, them side by side, they'll start as two three four, then you should be, proud of yourself, your mind you had to stretch.

man that was long the order i put there is famine, pestilence, war, and death in that order. war and famine start all the sentences and pestilence and death end all of the sentences, there are 3 sections 4 each majig.

Okay, I'm a spoiler of fun so here's the straight-forward answer.... if you figure out the s/l/s of one horsemajig all the others are exactly the same. Done.

I said that three pages ago. *snif* :)

Although the more interesting part is what each stat gets increased by.
