Are there any fiction stories or background summaries (such as "The Banker Clan is an organization of (blah blah blah) that got its start by (blah blah blah)...) to The Spoils? I love most of the art so far and would love to start reading about some of the backgrounds and factions, it makes it a bit more fun when you are playing.

The only story elements thus far appear in the flavor text under the name; though I've yet to see anything story related in there. As far as on this website: no. I haven't heard or seen anything. I think it's a safe bet to assume that we will evantually get some; but at the moment it doesn't appear to be any available to us :(

If they released some basic background info, the fans could get started on the fanfic :)

God help us!

Even so, I too am looking forward to hearing more about The Spoils' mythos.

If it wasn't for the acrolos bit, I would have started writing my own back story by now. As it is I think there are probably going to be several back stories as we have seen several strong characters. The strongest so far would have to be Josephine Ciellendio... don't rely on my spelling. She appears on two cards. I think that she's a safe bet to appear in the first backstory as the only faction to have contacted David Acrolos so far is the Gearsmith, of which Jo is a member.

I can easily see a story about Pluck aka The Billionaire as well though. After all, he appears on just as many cards as Jo. Unless of course he is going to appear on the finished version of Jackmove (I have a sneaking suspicion that he might, the flavor text seems to match his character.)

well there is kind of a story in 2 of the cards. look at the text on the Hiest Planner card, they talk about the hiest, then move to the Defenestrate card, and they are pulling off the hiest

There are a few cards that are connected like that. My favorite being Dragon Catheter and Dragon Juice! I was ROFLOL with that one!

I can't read the L33T stuff. Is there some kind of translator? :)

I am also very excited for a story/backstory on The Spoils. I am hoping there will be an official book/magazine/comic released by TG in regards to that. Probably will go on to become a NY Times #1 bestseller!;) :spade: Peace!

It's quite easy once you get the hang of it. I don't know the exact rules, but generally this is how I percieve it:

1 = L
2 = R
3 = E
4 = A
5 = S
6 = b* or G
7 = T
8 = B*
9 = P
0 = O
*Either number can be used to represent the letter "B".

As far as the other letters, just use common symbols that somewhat have their shape. K, for instance, is |<. D is |)
C is simply (, etc., etc.

And periods are used as spaces to seperate words. Hope that helps.:)

Eh, sorry. At later review I saw this post came at the end. Oh well, I'll leave it here just incase it does help someone.

Forget and Remember are the most obvious cards containing a subplot.
Blanching Butcher, Resurrection Technician, and Shocking Reappearance are also connected.
