This card is going to be strong in mono-banker. I do like me some re-animator. I just wish there was a way to put things in my own discard pile with banker....oh wait, there's selective gluttony. Man, its almost like a combo.

Fun card, obviously works well with Selective Gluttony.
My only complaint is that its threshold is going to make for another card that is dead in limited play.

Wow, I mean threshold is one thing people are being really tight on but there is a reason for this...
I play a deck with Gigamajig (6 threshold) and I like the way it works so I do think that 5 thresh is a possibility in a two trade deck. But if we see enough to go mono Greed this card definitely makes the cut. I mean dropping a union leader and a erotic assassin for 6 is worth it to me. Or what about res tech + assassin + assassin? WIth more graveyard manipulation in banker I might even think of throwing Downsizing in my deck...

Mono banker decks will be all the rage! The high cost and threshold keep it from being in much else but a gearsmith combo but even then, it would probably be a great deck.:spade:

uggghhhh shoot me....I don't like mono decks...looks like I wont be playing this tactic any time soon....these kind of things are really gonna slow sealed down as all the noobs try to play them in a jank mono/x splash deck....seems like an ok card I just dont like the thresh...meh just my opinion....

I dont really like the card all that much and banker still needs some cards to be better. Embezling bookeeper is the only card for them so far that even points in the right direction.

I foresee this being used HEAVILY. The reanimator decks I've seen run enough greed in the deck to play this tactic eventually, PLUS there is a lot of stall strategy and control that holds off until the late game. It would be the same thing, except now we don't have to wait until we are blocking to do it.

I havnt seen the spoiler for all of part 2 yet, but I must say all these High threshold cards are dissapointing.
Another dead card in sealed and draft.

Despite the high threshold, this card would probably make its way into my deck.

After seeing the spoiler list I like this card more and more. So many ways to discard and draw cards. So much fun. I think that re-animator will be very strong in this game because there is only one game in a match. No way to sideboard and wreck your stategy!

the main card for me that makes it work is the 1 G tactic that lets you search for a staple. going to really help thresholds out.

Unless the Limited format changes drastically, it won't be any good there. Then again, with all the high threshold cards we've been seeing, it may just do that.
