The Quotian ejecter's ability 'Eject!' costs 2 tokens on the card and allows you to take a card from play and put into it's owner's hand.

QUESTION:
Is my discard pile consided in-play and can I eject things from it? I figured I couldn't but when my opponant brought up that things can be 'removed from the game' (secondary dicard pile) it brought up the question of 'is your discard pile "in-play"?'

During a game, every card is within one of these areas:
In Play – This is where character, item, or location cards go when they are finished being played.
Discard Pile – This is where a card goes when it is discarded or destroyed. Also, this is where tactic
cards go once you have completed their instructions.
Out of Game – This is where cards go when they are removed from the game.

This is straight from the rules. These are three different areas.
