Black wash card

so i played the spoils for the first time friday and all i can say is im very excited about the game but i did crack a black wash card. for those of you who dont know what a black wash card is it's a card that is all black on the front where the card picture and wording would be and it has a normal back face

i ve seen these befor in other cardgames so what would you guys do with it if you got one

Yeah, those always seem to pop up in games. Most people don't care about 'em; some uber-collector types put 'em in the binder as a nice odd edition to their sets.
That being said, what do you want for it? :D

Black wash? An all black card? Is that just a printing error or something? It would be a great spot in your binder for the missing voidal webbing.:o :spade: Peace!

what do you have to offer i really like the deception cards im trying to get 4 of each but im far from it since ive only played once

I would rather be the geek who owns one:p I wish we could buy open beta cards even. I really like to build complete sets of games. At least 1 of all the cards. That would be sweet:cool: :spade: Peace!

Black Wash cards are usually printer mistakes with no real value outside of collectors. In which case most people want them since we all collect a little of what we play!
I'd value it no higher then $5 Mint. And that's only because this game is new.*
For $5 it should include free shipping in the USA.
Otherwise, trade value could go either way. $1 - $7, depending on wether or not you're a dealer. A dealer would charge at least $5 if he/she's smart, $1 if their generous. A throw in if they want to keep people coming back.
I personally love having misprinted and mangled-by-factory cards, including Black Washes and their ilk.

*I'd hold onto the card a while to be sure it was a Black Wash. Maybe it's like the new WoW cards and it's a scratch off? Doubtfull as I'm sure they might have mentioned something like that by now, but I'd hang onto it anyway. After all, it's value can only go up.

These don't seem to be nearly as rare in Open Beta as they are in most games. We (my friend and I) opened one, and also a card with a black border and a dark grey interior.

I would have expected to see MORE misprints in a Beta version of a brand new game, such as The Spoils. Maybe they have a good, up to date printer or something, excluding the lack of Voidal Webbings. :p

I was also shocked at the lack of misprints. Really don't seem to hear much about them. I suppose technology for this type of thing has pretty much been perfected over the last 13 years, or I would think so anyway. That and the TG staff probably know what companies are the best printers from their past experiences with Magi nation duel.;) :spade: Peace!

We come on these are the printers that left a card out of the set.....lol.
