covert once again

in everyones honest opinion what would be the best combination for a covert deck i figure that warlord would suck because i need defensive cards and by no means is warlord defensive. elitism is also bad cause its mainly pump. so thats out. im bouncing back and forth between either rogue or banker(arcanist is automatically in because it has all the cavert cards). if a i play rague with it i would have scrag and catastraphic betrayal and use it after they declare thier blockers so it becomes non-covert afterward and they just get their face beatten in. or should i play banker using a lot of stall brumingam jewery and such just to completely stall. so i need some input any would be helpful.

Either will work, it really depends on what your play style is. For this one I might very well pick Banker. If you can get high threshold, gristwalter could be gold.

An important note is that after blockers are declared, it no longer matters whether a party is covert or not. So if I attack with a covert Jumping Screamspider and am blocked by Sneaking Spitspider, and I use Jumping Screamspider's Scream! ability causing it to not be covert it would still be blocked.

i figured out that im going to play with banker for all th estall and delay but im thinking i need to start with 2 greed and put in like 18 more obsession for the high costs and high thres of other covert cards. so that elimates armored keep and samuel griswalter. or should i start the opposite way. with 2 obsession and 18 other greeds

Ghostly auditor could be great for some card advantage. Attacking a faction while covert is nice but you could always attack normally and get the double draw. You could go aggro with nodes and when they die, auditor becomes covert.

2 Basic Nodes form a party to attack a Headlong Purloiner. HP kills the party but dies from Nodes and Auditor becomes covert and swings, drawing you 2 cards.

Banker = Draw
Gearsmith = Search

Draw + Search = t3h r0x0r

The two trades have amazing options between the free Erotic Assassins/Pogobears. Limited Liability for node safety. Sami for repercussion free attacking. Both trades provide great deck thinning so drawing the cards one needs shouldn't be a problem.
