Hi there im a new judge and I was just looking through my collection takeing note of card enterations that may require rulings when I came across this one. I have already checked though the QA ,the current errata ,and confered with a fellow judge but I'm stumped.
fact 1: the rules of play state that your faction begins "In Play"
fact 2: A players faction can be targeted by cards in play or being played within restrictions of those cards( Dragon stratgey, Bask Bile, Magic Vault)
fact 3: There is no rule as to how a player can play a faction from his hand.
fact 4: forget's rules texts states
cost: pick a non-resource card
effect: Put the card into its owner's hand. Look at your opponent's hand and pick a card. Your opponent must discard that card.
Now given the previous facts true. wouldn't the ultimate turn 3 kill be: start turn; play 5th resource; pay 5 for "Forget" targeting your opponets faction?; once it resolves the player looks in his opponets hand and picks the faction forceing him to discard it.
Is this leagal?, If so I beleive I have stumbled on to quite possible the most powerful card in the game.
