Here's a simple question for once (maybe).
If my opponent plays Irresistible Bribe on my Quotidian Ejector, and in response I have the Ejector bounce itself, do I still gain the influence?
It's really an overall question of do you follow all the instructions on the cards if something changes and you cannot complete all of them?
How to Play a Card
5. If the card is a character, item, or location put it into play. If the card is a tactic, follow all its instructions then put it into your discard pile.
Is it really that simple?
