Honestly is there a way to just stop people from putting crappy adds up?

I have said again and again, i have a list of Adbot's IPs and common member names i can give tenacious at anytime they want, my forum is IF but I assume the same principle applies.

basically you have to just ignore it, its more a hassle on the staff than anyone else, btu yes, it is an obnoxious way to advertise.

Sadly no, I have only ever used IPB, IF, or phbb boards, either way I'll send you the list, I don't know how much it will help but at least it should block some of the incoming spammers.

ST, we can view IPs, I don't know about banning them. That's more of an admin thing I think but I'll look into it.

My mistake on that, it's user names and Emails, I don't have the IPs i thought I had but hopefully you guys can do SOMETHING with the names and addresses.

One trick is preregistering all of them so when people try to join as them, it wont allow, and since they are run by bots they wont be able to make a different account. That's one plan any way, if you can straight up ban them I''d encourage to do that instead.
