"N.E.D.M." typically refers to a YTMND/internet fad, and translates, in those situations, to "Not Even Doom Music." I doubt this is the definition of it for this situation, but I wouldn't be willing to rule it out, given the "1337," etc. jokes present elsewhere.

Yeah you win the prize....my understand of it is since the NEDM first started involving a cat it probably is just that.
