Suppose I have The Billionaire in play and want to use the ability of Mephitic Nullifier controlled by my opponent.

You may use abilities on your opponent's cards as though you were your opponent. (The effect still happens to your opponent.)

flash-bang
cost: Pick a character you control. Destroy this card.
effect: Put the character into its owner's hand.

Do I pick a character I control or a character my opponent controls?

If part of the cost of the ability is a numeric cost, then do I attach my opponent's resources or my own to pay for it?

Suppose my opponent has a depleted Hidden Sniper in play when I play The Billionaire. I end my turn, and he starts his turn, resolving all triggers like the Restore Ability of his faction. Now the rules say that he can play an ability, play a card, or end his turn. The Billionaire says that I can play abilities on his cards as though I were him, which means I can play abilities right now. So we both want to use the Hidden Sniper, and we're both allowed to, but only one of us actually can.

You pick a character your opponent controls.

If there's a numeric cost you use your own resources.

This one's tricky. Well, you forgot the option of declaring an attack, but that's not relavant. Your opponent get's to do any of those things because it is his turn. You may be able to use the ability like you're your opponent but it's not your turn so in order to use it you need to respond to something.

Actually you could attach it to whom ever you like. I dunno why you would want to attach it to one of your characters but hey whatever. Sorry I was thinking of Napi which is why I said attach.....pay no attention to me yet again.

These seem contradictory. For Nullifier, I have to pretend that I'm my opponent when I pay the cost, but for a numeric cost, I don't pretend that I'm my opponent (and use his resources instead of my own)? Can you explain why it's this way?

the simple way to define billionaire is like a mini emergancy obsofucation.

you basicly control your oponnents creatures abilities ownere would refer to him so you would have to sack it and bounce one of his creatures.

Are we sure this is the case?

So how does paying the cost of my opponent's Siege Machine work? I pay 2 and my opponent loses 1 resource (of my choice) and takes 1 damage to his faction? That would be nasty.
