Hey,

I just discovered this new game and it appeals to me. Do you guys have any plans for Open Beta tournaments in Europe??

I was going to ask the same ... coz I am from Europe too.

I guess open beta distribution is connected with the planned release distribution.
But who knows their plans? I'd also like to hear a statement about this topic here.

P.S. Where are u from flurk? I'm from Germany. Any others from Europe, tell us.

Hi guys,

I can not tell you if Open Beta will be in Europe, but I can tell you this...

While at GENCON, I demoed the game to a gentleman who represented "the largest gaming distributor" in the UK & Europe. He liked it for sure, so I'd be very hopeful that it will be in Europe as soon as possible even if it isn't until the full release.

Is it possible to ship a demo pack to Europe? If so, I would ask some local retailers to have a look at TheSpoils.

I am also willing to distribute some packs to local retailers and I also have contacts at our importers. So just let me know if you want me to try.

It would be disappointing to see that the product is not going sold outside of the US of A from the start.

The TG staff are really great guys (and gals) who seem to be personally interested in the success of The Spoils. As LucienofShadow mentioned your best option at this point would probably be to e-mail the TG staff and ask if there was anything plannned for Europe in the near future. My guess is eventually they plan on taking The Spoils worldwide. If the first sets do well (and I am sure they will) then distributors from other countries are sure to take notice and want to get this game to their countries as well. It may even happen sooner than that. Who knows.....good luck and I hope to see you gaming.:spade: Peace!

I guess release date is the same as for US.
Tenacious Games surprises me positive with such well planned marketing strategy =)

I try getting some store owners interested in TheSpoils, or at least 8ppl for a Kit .

Do you happen to know if the guy from the UK and the two others from Switzerland that are receiving kits are the guys I demoed to at GENCON?

So I guess the only way to get a Open Beta pack is to find some store near me who has been sent some of these (quite improbable)? Will I be able to play it at the SPIEL 2006 in Essen, Germany?
I ask because I've got quite some friends who are excited of this game.

That's cool! I'm an American who lived in Malmedy, Belgique for 3.5 years. Awesome country you have flurk!

It would be so cool if 'The Spoils' could make its way to Belgium. I'd love an excuse to go back.

Let's hope that Australia gets on the list very soon!

I am trying to trade for a box of Beta boosters from someone in the US. Fingers crossed!
