Voildal Disjunction
2 OO
Arcanist Tactic
You may only play this card in response to a tactic.
Your opponent cannot respond to this card.
Cost: Discard a card.
Effect: Terminate the tactic. Remove the tactic from the game. This card becomes a face down resource attached to your faction.
Flip Up
1 OOOO and discard a card.

I like this card a lot actually. I would raise thresh to 3 and remove the last effect of having it flip face down attached to your faction. Arcanist already has enough recursion and having it reusable is too powerful in my opinion since outright "counters" are limited in The Spoils by design.

the reason i put the initial thresh at 2 was looking at cock block. it has a 1. really this card is based on cock block with the recursion. having to discard 2 cards to flip it up offsets the flip down and costs.

I hadn't thought about cock block when looking at this card. The costing makes more sense in that aspect assuming the power level of Seed 2 is maintained going forward.

Seems way too powerful I understand that you are trying to compete with tactics that flip down but wouldn't terminating them send them to the discard rather than down as a resource since it gets terminated? Also archivist is more about bouncing than destroying or stoping out right it just doesn't seem to fit their flavor.

This seems crazy powerful. The discard is not enough to offset its power. Cock block is in response to an ability. An ability can be used every turn and it starts to wear on the controller of cock block because of it's flip up cost and discard. Let's say someone is running a SIN deck. It will take me all of 4 discarded cards and 5 resources to have him never get his combo off.

Just to clarify, it would require 7 discarded cards from using the 1 tactic. (provided first interrupt is from your hand, 8 if all face down)
Because flipup cost requires discard a card, and then there's an extra cost to discard as well.
I still agree that it's a really powerful card, maybe to powerful because of the RFG. Just wanted to point out that correction bit.

also the thresh goes up for flipup. i would be ok with it being even higher of a thresh for flipup but i still want it playable after crests rotate out.
